About the Author

C.S. Lewis (1898-1963) was one of the greatest 20th century writers whose books have become international best-sellers. A contemporary of J.R.R. Tolkien and member of the Inklings, he became best known for his Christian writings, though his highly imaginative fiction (including The Chronicles of Narnia for children and The Space Trilogy for adults) are renowned as classics 50 years after he died.
